Spanish conversation #2
I think that my biggest accomplishment in my second video was how fast I learned the sentences that we talked about. I learned them even though I had very little time time. I studied every night I could and stayed on track while practicing at school. I also missed a very important day to practice my work because of a community service project.
I was able to speak for the entire video with minimal stammering. I found some words difficult to to say because I kept mixing them up with Croatian words and other spanish words. I used to do this more often but I find myself doing it less and less.
I think I deserve an +A in spanish because I always take notes in class and study on tests whenever I have time. I also a have an A+ average in all tests and my spanish grade. Even though I may joke around in class I get back on task as soon as the teacher tells me to and I am a very good student.
My conversation was about what I did at and things about school. The first sentence was about the time I woke up. Second, what did you have for breakfast. After that the question was asking what your first class was. Then which class is your favorite. The fifth asked whether your grades were good. The hardest question was, what work do you need help on and the final question asks if you are a good student.
Spanish conversation #3
My biggest accomplishment in this conversation was learning the content in the short amount of time I had, learning the new words, and balancing the amount of work we had for all of our other classes. This week was definitely one of the most stressful of the year so far and I was really proud that I could balance all of my classes at once and memorise my lines for spanish. I had a lot of new words that I didn’t know, so it was a challenge to add them into a comprehensible sentence.
Throughout the entire video I was able to speak fluent spanish, but this is because I practiced almost every night this week. I first thought that it was going to be really challenging. Later I found it easy because I practiced enough that all of the words just clicked for me.
I think that I deserve an A for this conversation because I spoke throughout the video with confidence even though I was messing around a little. Knew all of the content and after the video ended I took an extra credit test. I feel the most comfortable in spanish class because Of the environment and the fact that I know that if I put enough effort into my work I can do it.
My conversation was about where I live and what makes it special to me and my partner who also lives in my city. It ties into our Living North County project about the city we are studying. My partner and I asked about things like favorite places, weather we liked certain things that were vocab words.
