My whole class collaborated to make this Vitruvian man. We constructed it by putting together all of our measurements and cutting the human shape out on wood with the laser printer in the high school. We also added spall designs in the body parts that we thought mad us perfect like the Fibonacci sequence.
This is my courage painting of Atticus Finch. The final product has a courageous quote on it but this is the incomplete version. We had to find people that we could relate too. I related to Atticus because we both believe that you need to do the right thing.
This project was inspired by a character in Toy Story, Sid. We brought toys from home a we turned them into abominations by mixing and matching all different toys in many ways. The results were disturbing.
In the character remix project I mixed together two cartoon characters that I liked. I mashed Bender and Dr. Zoidberg into a robot squid-crad. By far one of my favorite activates.
Challenges
A challenge that I had this semester was learning adobe illustrator. I often got lost and zoned out when Mr. Jacob explained what to do when vectorizing our vitruvian man signs. I am not very good in computer skills. Even though all of my disadvantages weigh against me, I would still complete my work
Praiseworthy Product
One praisworthy product for art is my courage painting. I tried putting as much detail as I could
Something I Learned
One thing I learned this semester was a lesson in the glue stick project. I failed horribly. None of the glue sticks fit in the holsters and It was covered in splinters. I learned that it is better to take your time rather than rush through every thing because you will make mistakes.
