In the Six word memoir project we had to choose six words that described this one Important event in your life and put the six words as your title. My class had to write a memoir using past tense and use explicit adjectives. My Memoir was about my family trip to Hawaii and How it went from good to bad. Even when every thing looked downhill something changed the mood.

This is a high school student I had to interview for the What is Courage project. My partner and I had to record her thoughts of the interview questions we asked her.
"if you had Asked like two years ago if I would play like a pick up soccer game I would've said no way, and now I world probably go play even though my doctors would get upset with me." |

Does Atticus have Moral Courage
In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, Atticus shows moral courage by treating people of other race, class, and situations equally. Atticus explains to Scout, “you never really understand a person until you consider from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it”(p.30). He is willing to understand people and work according to their situation in life. This is important because many people in the town are willing to work with him, like Tom Robinson and his family. Another way that Atticus shows moral courage is when he tells Jem, “But remember it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird. Mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy”(p.93). He cares even for a little bird that doesn’t mean that much. He still has a moral not to disregard a mockingbird because they are innocent. Not many people would care if a bird was harmed and Atticus does. However Atticus feels like it is his moral duty to explain this to Jem. From the evidence shown, Atticus shows moral courage by viewing himself in other people's position.

Some thing that was challenging for me in humanities this semester, was critiquing my own work. It wasn't that I didn't try, it is just hard for me to look at my paper from another view. Almost all of the things I write down make sense to me, so it is hard to find problems. One of the best solutions I have found, is to just have some one else go over and critique it. They have they're own perspective so it is easier to find flaws.
One praiseworthy product I have for humanities is my light box. My team and I were struggling to make the deadline because I was trying to be patient and not mess it up. I tried to make the light box as good as it could be. I was basically the groups handyman so I did the jobs that no one else could do. I tried all types of things like cutting foam core and etch in details with an exacto knife.
This semester I learned more about courage. I learned that there are many different types of courage and it can be shown in many ways. Something that made me wonder was the seaming infinite amount of types of courage.
A goal I have for next semester humanities is constantly challenging myself. I feel like my work can be a little dry and I wish I could make my work more lively. I will try and add some interesting options to my work.
